How it works, and how deleting happens
Everything runs in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded and there is no account.
- Choose a folder (or pick photos). IOUKeepers reads them right on your device.
- It groups the duplicates and look-alikes and marks the best copy to keep (highest resolution, oldest first).
- Remove the rest, which is where your browser matters:
- Chrome or Edge: click Delete selected and the copies go straight to your trash. That is it.
- Firefox or Safari: these browsers don't let a website delete your files, so click Copy delete list, open the folder, and delete those yourself. Or get the IOUKeepers app for one tap cleanup.
